my heart is like the morning sun,
slowly rising... to meet a clear blue sky above,
and I see my lover down below,
in a meadow full of growth...
and in the still, I hear the quiet whispers of a calming breeze,
it does tempt and tease with truths it knows,
and nature seems to laugh and play so well,
while leaves are moving too and fro...
and my lover basks beneath my balmy warmth,
listening with a captured heart,
to all secrets that my warming love imparts..
so, here, shining above this meadowed grass below,
I know my love sings true,
a song so sweet and yet so old,
I can surrender to this journey now,
and feel all the beauty of my love and lovers hold...
